NHS 111 Wales provides health advice and information 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We take great pride in the service that our staff deliver and work hard to attract some of the most talented and enthusiastic staff in the NHS.

There are over 300 members of staff (both full and part time) currently working at NHS 111 Wales. Staff come from a wide range of disciplines and work in the following areas and roles: Management, Senior Nurse Advisers, Nurse Advisers, Health Information Advisers, Dental Health Advisers, Call Handlers, Audit, Data Analysis, Administration, Training and Development, Human Resources, Communications, IT, Telecommunications and Web Development.

We have three contact centres across Wales – in Swansea in South West Wales, Bangor in North West Wales and Cwmbran in South East Wales.  We operate as a virtual call centre, so each call is taken by the next available agent, wherever they are based. Having three different sites allows us not only to recruit from different areas of Wales, but also to build partnerships with local health and social care communities.
