Cardinals General Manager: The team will not trade Patrick Peterson jerseys.

Patrick Peterson will not go anywhere. Steve Keim, general manager of the Arizona cardinals, made this clear.

While the NFL is watching which team Jacksonville Jalen Ramsey will be traded to, Keim said on Friday that Cardinals’number one guard, Peterson, who is currently banned from the tournament, will not leave.

“We don’t trade Pat, that’s our position all the time,” Kam said in an interview when asked if he would consider leaving Peterson. “When you see a player like Pat, I think he’s probably the best corner guard in the league. All you have to do is say,’Will this make our team better or worse? I think losing players like Pat Peterson will make us worse.

As to whether the Arizona Cardinals jerseys were interested in trading Ramsay, Kam refused to respond. “Anything I say to the other players on the contract will be regarded as illegal contact,” said Kam. “So I can’t discuss whether I’m interested in him.”

The reason for the rumor that the Cardinals are interested in Ramsay is that the Cardinals have restructured their Chandler Jones contract and released part of their salary space. Kam stressed that this was a fairly normal step.

“In terms of salary space, we have less than $1 million left,” says Kam. “We’ve done this before. This is what many teams do on a daily basis, just to increase some flexibility. We suffered a lot of injuries in pre-season.

“When you need to sign someone else to replace the injured and everything like that, you just want to make sure you are flexible during the season. It also gives you the ability to renew your contract with any player you see in the future. I won’t read it too much.”

So the Cardinals will welcome Peterson back after his four remaining games are suspended.
