    Summary

    The unit provides multidisciplinary care for a variety of conditions with access and links to other services in primary and secondary care, e.g., speech and language, physiotherapy, etc. 

    The unit provides a day service for blood transfusion and iron infusion and caters for falls assessments. 

    The unit also is base for the Rapid Diagnosis Centre.  This will require a GP referral into this centre.
