Summary
Mold Community Hospital Minor Injury Unit is a nurse led minor injury unit that can treat a limited range of injuries and issues.
They are not an Accident & Emergency department, walk in centre, urgent care centre or general x-ray service.

X-Rays: Mold Minor Injury Unit do not x-ray for arthritis, degeneration or other medical issues, they are concerned with diagnosing acute fractures, foreign bodies and dislocations only.
They cannot x-ray children under 5 years old, any injury over approximately 6 weeks old is considered chronic and inappropriate for the Minor Injury Unit.

Out Of Hours Access Arrangements: Can refer patients to the nearest open MIU when this MIU is closed, or patients can be seen in their nearest Emergency Department if urgent.
