Summary
The Specialist Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (S-CAMHS) works with children and young people up to the age of 18 with moderate to severe mental health difficulties. There is a multidisciplinary team that uses evidenced-based treatments that are consistent with guidance and best practice to provide assessment and treatment packages for the child/young person and their family.
SPACE Wellbeing (Single Point of Access for Children's Emotional Wellbeing and Mental Health) is a multi-agency process embedded in the community to co-ordinate help, including both early intervention and specialist provision for children and young people's mental health and emotional wellbeing, in order to help children / young people and their families to get the right help, first time. Parents are able to self-refer to SPACE Wellbeing to request support based on their child / young person's current needs.
