Where can children be seen in the Cardiff and Vale University Health Board area for physiotherapy?
Community based Paediatric Physiotherapists provide a service to children and young people across Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan in their outpatient clinics, special schools and mainstream schools. Outpatient clinics are based at St David’s Children’s Centre, Llandough Children’s Centre and Dolphin Outpatients department, Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospital, University Hospital of Wales. Special schools with onsite physiotherapists are Ysgol y Deri, Penarth and Ty Gwyn School, Cardiff. Specialist physiotherapy input can also be provided for children with movement and posture difficulties in mainstream school settings.
