    Summary

    The aim of the British Heart Foundation is to play a leading role in the fight against heart disease.  They provide support and information to patients, their carers and family, offering details on support groups and rehabilitation programmes. 

    They also provide a Heart Helpline where experienced nurses can help answer your questions or concerns about heart and circulatory diseases.  The Heart Helpline can be contacted on 0300 330 3311 and is open weekdays between 9.00am and 5.00pm.  Alternatively you can email them via hearthelpline@bhf.org.uk and a cardiac nurse will get back to you as soon as possible.  You can also Chat online with a cardiac nurse via the online chat facility which is open weekdays between 9.00am and 5.00pm.
