Summary
Macmillan Cancer support provides information, practical, financial and emotional support for people living with cancer. They can help identify the right information and organisations for people affected by cancer and how to access Macmillan services from nursing to grants. They also offer a guide to local self help and support groups. The Macmillan UK Helpline also provides an interpretation service, allowing callers to speak with a cancer information nurse, a Welfare Rights Advisor or an Information and Support Specialist in the language of their choice. Most common ethnic languages are covered including Arabic, Bengali, Cantonese, French, Greek, Gujarati, Hindi, Polish, Urdu, Vietnamese and Welsh.
