Virtual Assistant – Supplementary Privacy Information
DRUID AI provide the software for our Virtual Assistant. When you start a conversation, it uses scanned information from the 111 website to provide You with information regarding health services in Your area, provide immediate responses to inquiries, streamline access to information, and offer a more interactive user experience.
We do not need to know your personal information as part of the Virtual Assistant and advise you not to provide personal details that could identify you. If you do provide specific details about you such as your name and contact details, this may result in us processing your personal data.
When you provide information to Virtual Assistant which include personal data, the lawful basis we rely on for processing this information are:
(e) To perform a public task or in the public interest;
(h) For the management of health or social care systems and services.
Conversation history is stored securely by DRUID AI as a Data Processor. It will also be accessible to teams in the Welsh Ambulance for the purpose of improving responses and to review the accuracy and quality of the service. Your data will not be sent outside of the EEA.
Conversation history will be erased after 3 months. We may need to keep this for longer where we are under a legal obligation or requirement to do so. Anonymised aggregate statistics will be retained, and anonymous usage results may be shared or disclosed to third parties such as Commissioners.
