All Wales Information

When you contact your practice or Health Board for a dental appointment, you MUST tell them if you have tested positive for coronavirus (COVID19) OR you are currently self-isolating OR you have possible symptoms.

Dental practices have to comply with Standard Operating Procedures including social distancing measures so please do not attend unless you have made an appointment.

Dental practices gather as much information as possible remotely via telephone or video before you attend for your dental appointment. Please make sure you have information about your medical conditions, medicines you are currently taking, nature of current and past dental problems and any other relevant information (e.g. need to attend dental appointment with someone) before you ring for a dental appointment.

If you have pain, toothache, dental trauma or swelling please use the 111 Wales symptom checker for dental problems and follow the advice provided. If you have another dental problem please search for advice on that topic in the NHS 111 Wales Encyclopaedia and follow the appropriate advice.

The NHS 111 dental database provides names and locations of Dental Practices only.  It does not provide details of Practices currently accepting new patients. For this information, you will need to contact Practices directly.

If you do not have a regular dentist, call the appropriate dental helpline number for your Health Board area. This information can be found here.
