Temporary Residents in Wales requiring medical assistance from GP
If you are temporarily resident in Wales during Coronavirus, ensure that you continue to contact your usual GP practice for routine requests such as repeat prescriptions. Travel for medical needs to your primary residence including to visit your usual GP practice is considered “essential travel”. Any questions or concerns regarding registering as a temporary patient during Covid-19 should be addressed to Shared Services Partnership.

How to Use
To search for a GP practice, enter a postcode or town/city.

For GP registrations, please contact the Shared Services Partnership that covers your Health Board area. You can contact GP Practices in your locality however, we cannot guarantee that they are currently accepting new patients.

To search for a practice that provides/offers travel or yellow fever vaccinations, please ensure you select the correct option from the 'Filter by' section and enter a postcode or town/city.

My Health Online
To find out if your practice offers the My Health Online service, click on the My Health Online filter and search using either your postcode/town/surgery name. Only surgeries displayed currently offer the service.

To register for a My Health Online account, print off and complete the registration form for yourself or on behalf of someone e.g. parent/carer and give into your GP surgery. Already registered? Log into your account by clicking on 'Services provided' found on your GP surgery record and select My Health Online hyperlink.
