Important Information

In response to the latest Government announcement about restriction of movements,  all routine/ non urgent dental appointments have been cancelled.  This measure has been put in place to protect patients and the dental teams from the risk of infection.

If you have pain, toothache, dental trauma or swelling please use the 111 Wales symptom checker for dental problems and follow the advice provided. If you have another dental problem please search for advice on that topic in the NHS 111 Wales Encyclopaedia and follow the appropriate advice.

Your dental practice should be contributing to collective arrangements to provide dental advice and to see dental emergencies either within the practice or as part of a central helpline.  If you do need formal advice regarding a dental emergency, you should initially try to contact your dental practice by telephone. Do not go to the practice in person, you will be provided with advice over the telephone regarding arrangements  should you need to be seen. If your practice are not taking calls you may need to call the a number your Local Health Board normally uses for urgent dental care. This information can be found here.
