Miami Dolphins will commemorate coach Don Shura with a Jersey logo

The Miami Dolphins will add history to the new season’s Jerseys.

The dolphins announced on Thursday that they would add a logo to their jerseys in memory of Don Shula, who died this year. The logo is a hexagon above the heart at the bottom of the neck with the words Shula 347 inside.

“We are proud to be able to continue to commemorate his historic life and achievements with the Jersey logo that symbolizes his successful experience as the league’s most successful manager in history,” says dolphin owner Stephen Ross.

Shula has been an amazing coach for 33 seasons, 26 of which have been spent in dolphins, with 347 victories and an NFL record. The 347 games include two super bowl games, 19 playoffs and the 1972 season total win. It’s also amazing that he has only two seasons in his career as manager.

Shula is one of the 10 managers selected for the NFL Centennial line-up. Now he will be remembered on the jerseys of every dolphin player in the new season.
