Former A&M teammates Gillaspia, Watts exchange NFL jerseys

On Sunday afternoon, the Houston Texans made their way to Kansas City to take on the Chiefs.

After looking unstoppable in the first four games of the season, Kansas City was upset by Indianapolis a week ago. It looked to back to its old form on Sunday, though, as the Chiefs led the Texans, 17-3, at the end of the first quarter. From that point forward, however, it was the visitors that put on a show. Houston camne out with a 31-24 win at Arrowhead Stadium.

In action on opposite sidelines were a pair of former Texas A&M teammates, who both were crowd favorites during their time in Aggieland.

Texans rookie fullback Cullen Gillaspia was the first-ever 12th Man to be drafted as he found himself selected in the seventh round this past spring by his hometown team. The former walk-on made the 53-man roster and has been a valuable member of the special teams units. For Kansas City, second-year safety Armani Watts was a fourth-round selection a year ago. He missed much of his rookie season, though, after suffering a groin injury in Week 5 that landed him on the Injured Reserve (IR) list.

Both players came to A&M in the class of 2014 and got to know each other very well. After being on opposing sidelines for the first time, the two exchanged jerseys following the game.
