NFL fans, prepare for the fun of changing the jersey number.

Tom pelissero of the NFL Network reported that the owners of the NFL have approved the proposal to change the jersey number, according to people familiar with the matter.

A proposal submitted by the Kansas City chief wants to change the restrictions on players’ choice of jersey numbers. Specifically, the proposal proposes to increase the number of players who are eligible to wear single digit number Jersey positions. These players were previously only allowed to be owned by quarterbacks, kickers and discarders.

The enlarged number allows the running guard, the near end front, the full back, the half back and the outside receiver to wear No. 1-49 and No. 80-89; Defenders can choose 1-49; Line guards can choose 1-59 and 90-99; Attack front can choose 50-79; And the defensive guard can choose 50-79 and 90-99. Quarterbacks, kickers and discarders will still be able to choose 1-19.

Due to the influence of COVID-19, all teams have expanded their practice lineup. This has led to some problems with the number of cheap jerseys in some clubs last year, thus speeding up the changes in the selection of the number of jerseys.

Many players want to change their number of jerseys, especially those with higher skills and defensive guards, who may choose the single digit number they wore in college or before.
